- Documents button: the Documents button at the top of the portal only appears when you have shared at least one file. It opens a Documents panel.
- In the panel: each file shows its name, your client-facing description and its size. The client selects a file to open it.
- Finding files: a search box filters by name and description, and a menu sorts them alphabetically or by Recently shared.
- Categories: if any shared file has a category, files are grouped under those headings, and files without one go under Other.
- Onboarding files: a file set to show during onboarding also appears in the welcome card, under Documents to review.
- Task files: a file you attach to a task shows under Documents on that task, whether or not it is shared.
Good to know
- Every shared file is visible to every client of your business.
- Only admins can open the File Library to share, rename or remove files.
- A file you unshare disappears from the panel the next time the client opens their portal.
