See how a client fills in a form

See how a client opens, saves and submits a form on a task, and what happens after they submit.
Where:SidebarTasksTask name
- On the task: a Form to fill in card with a Required badge if you required it, and how many questions are answered.
- Button: Open Form the first time, Continue Form once they have saved, Update Your Answers after you send the task back, and View Your Submission once it is submitted.
- Pages: a form with several pages opens on a welcome page with Get started, then moves through steps with Previous and Next. A single-page form shows all its questions together.
- Your answers: if you pre-filled the form, they see a message that your business has filled in some answers for them to check.
- Saving: Save Progress keeps a draft so they can leave and come back. Closing with unsaved answers asks them in Discard unsaved changes?.
- Submitting: Submit Form checks the required questions and lists any that are missing.
- After: the form becomes read-only and tells them to contact you for changes.
Good to know
- A client must submit an attached form before they can sign, even when you did not make it required.
- If you send the task back, the form reopens as a draft with their answers kept.
- You can then read the answers on the task.
