- When: a client can finish a task while it is Active or Needs Changes. A Submitted or Completed task is read-only for them.
- Button: they select Submit for Review when the task needs staff review, or Mark as Done when it does not. A task that needs a signature has no Mark as Done, because they sign instead.
- Note: before they finish, they can select Add a note (optional). You read it under Review & Completion Notes on the task.
- Confirmation: Hydi asks them to confirm in Submit Task? or Complete Task?.
- Blocked until ready: the button stays off until they have uploaded a required file, ticked every checklist item you made required, and submitted a form you made required. A line under the button says which one is missing.
- With review: the task becomes Submitted and you get a notification. If they used Submit for Review, they also get a confirmation email when they have an email address and have not unsubscribed, but signing sends none.
- Without review: the task becomes Completed and you get a notification.
Good to know
- A client cannot change a task after they finish it, but you can send a Submitted task back for changes, and only the business owner can reopen a Completed one.
- The staff review default for new tasks is a business setting, and each task can differ.
