Send a test SMS
Admins only
Send a text to your own phone to check that SMS is working for your business.
Where:SidebarSettingsSMSSend Test SMS
- Select Settings in the sidebar, then select SMS.
- Under Send Test SMS, enter your mobile number in Phone number. If your profile has a number, Hydi fills it in.
- Select Send Test SMS.
- Check your phone. Hydi shows Test SMS sent successfully when the text has gone out, or an error message if it has not.
- If your profile has no phone number, choose Save phone number to keep this one, or No thanks.
Good to know
- A test uses an SMS credit from your balance, unless your account has free credits.
- You can only send a test once SMS is turned on and you have credits.
- Hydi limits how often you can send a test, so wait a short while before trying again.
