Send a form to a client to sign

Give a client a form to fill in and sign, from choosing the form to sending the task.
Where:SidebarTasks
- Select Form Library in the sidebar and check your form is in the Published tab. If it is a draft, publish it first.
- Select Tasks in the sidebar, then select Create Task.
- Choose the Client, enter a Title and add a Description that tells them what to do.
- Select the Advanced tab. In Form, choose your form, then tick Form must be submitted before the task can be completed.
- Tick Requires Signature(s) and enter the Acknowledgement Text you want the client to confirm.
- Select Create Task.
- In Task Created, select Send Now. To pre-fill answers first, select Keep as Draft, pre-fill the form, then send the draft.
Good to know
- The client must submit the form before they can sign, even if you leave the tick box off.
- If you send the task back for changes, the client has to submit the form and sign again.
- Once they finish, read their answers or download them as a PDF.
