Know Hydi's key terms
Admins & staff
Learn the words Hydi uses for clients, tasks, statuses, templates, forms and files.
Where:Sidebar
- Business: your organisation in Hydi. Everything you see belongs to one business.
- Staff member: a person who signs in to Hydi for your business, as Staff or Admin. The owner is the one who created the business.
- Client: a person your business works with. Clients never sign in. They use their portal link.
- Client portal: the page where a client sees and finishes their tasks. Their portal link, shown as Client Portal Link, opens it.
- Task: a piece of work for one client. It cannot be moved to another client.
- Draft: a task the client cannot see yet. Active: sent and waiting on the client.
- Submitted: the client has finished and you need to review it. Needs changes: you sent it back.
- Completed and Cancelled: the task is finished or withdrawn.
- Overdue: a tag on an Active, Submitted or Needs changes task past its due date. It is not a status.
- Nudge: a reminder you send now instead of waiting for the next scheduled one.
- Task template: a saved set of tasks you can assign to one or many clients.
- Form: questions a client answers online. You build it in the Form Library and attach it to a task.
- File Library: documents you upload once and attach to tasks or share with clients.
- Client invitation: an email or text that lets a new client enter their own details.
- Sample data: the client, tasks and template Hydi adds in setup. Admins can clear it.
