Task templates
Add tasks to a template
Admins & staff
Build up a template with the tasks you give to clients again and again.
Where:SidebarTask TemplatesTemplate name
- Select Task Templates in the sidebar, then select the template.
- Under Task Definitions, select Add task.
- Enter the task's title. Add a description to tell the client what to do.
- To set a due date, enter Due Offset (Days), the number of days after the base date you choose when you assign the template. Add a Due Time if you need one.
- Add any extras you need:
- Select Add Item and enter its Title for a checklist, or Add Link and enter its URL for a link.
- Tick Requires signature or Requires staff review before completion.
- Choose an option in File upload, add Attached documents, or choose a Form.
- Repeat from step 2 for each task, then select Save.
Good to know
- Nothing is saved until you select Save, and Hydi will not save a task with an empty title.
- A task with no Due Offset (Days) has no due date, and Due Time uses your business timezone.
- File upload shows only when file uploads are turned on for your business, Attached documents needs the File Library, and choosing a Form needs admin access and the Form Library.
